We like simple rice and we love it when we make it as a use recipe. And that happens with this rich man rice with chorizo and chickpeas that we propose today.
We are going to prepare it with some ingredients that we have left over from cooking and with sausage, which will be the protagonist of the dish.
I used the stew broth to cook it. If you don't have any leftover broth, you can replace it with any meat broth.
Rice With Chorizo
A very simple and very tasty rice.

Ingredients
- A splash of olive oil
- 1 / 4 chopped onion
- 100 g of beef in pieces
- 75 g chorizo in pieces
- A few pieces of chicken
- A teaspoon of turmeric
- 200 g of cooked chickpeas
- 3 cups of rice
- 6 cups stew broth or other meat broth
Preparation
We put a splash of olive oil in the pan.
When it is hot, add the onion and sauté it.
We add the meat and seal it as well.
Now we add the chorizo and chickpeas.
Add the shredded chicken (I added the leftover cooked chicken) and, when everything is sautéed, add the turmeric.
Add the rice and mix well.
Now we add the hot broth.
Let it cook, first over high heat and then over low heat, until the rice is cooked.
