We can transform a simple white rice into a delicious dish if we accompany it with a tomato sauce and seafood which is prepared in a few minutes.
What's more, the whole recipe prepared in record time because while the rice is cooking we will prepare the sauce. That easy.
I leave you step by step photos. You can buy the mix of seafood and fish frozen (like the one sold for the paella) or prepare it yourself with the ingredients you have at home. It is a good recipe to use.
Rice with tomato sauce and seafood

Ingredients
- 350 g of rice
- A dash of extra virgin olive oil
- 150 g frozen seafood/fish mix
- 50 g pitted black olives
- Half tomato in pieces
- Dried aromatic herbs
- 400 g of tomato passatta
- Sal Island
Preparation
We put abundant water in a saucepan, with a splash of oil and salt, to cook the rice. When it starts to boil, add the rice and cook it until it is well cooked, taking into account the cooking time indicated by the manufacturer.
While the water is heating up and the rice is cooking, we put a drizzle of olive oil in a pan. Sauté the seafood together with the tomato pieces and the black olives. We add a little salt.
When the stew is ready, add the tomato and salt.
We cook for a few minutes.
Once the rice is ready, drain it.
We assemble the dishes with the help of a small bowl. Grease the bowl with oil.
We fill it with rice and put it upside down on a plate.
Remove the bowl, carefully.
We put a couple of tablespoons of our sauce on our mountain of rice. And ready!
