Salty christmas wreath

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. In a frying pan, put a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, and fry the bacon in cubes. Once it is fried, drain it and let it cool.

2. Put the broccoli to cook in a pot with plenty of water and when it is cooked, drain it, let it cool, and when it is ready, cut it into small pieces because it will be one of the main ingredients of our Christmas wreath.

3. In another pan, put a little olive oil, and when it is hot, add the finely chopped onion and let it brown. Once you are, reserve.

4. Spread the puff pastry on the counter, and make 8 triangles of the same size with it, as we show you in the image.

5. Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper, and spread the puff pastry triangles on it, like a sun, with the peaks of the triangles facing outward.

6. In a small bowl mix the cream cheese with the poached onions and spread it over the dough. Then sprinkle with ham, broccoli and bacon. Go wrapping the dough as if it were a crown.

7. In a small bowl, beat the egg yolk and water. Use a silicone brush to paint the crown, and once it is painted, sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese on it.

8. Bake for about 30 minutes until the crown is golden.
