Beef fajitas, the original

As many of you will know, fajitas are one of the traditional dishes of Tex-Mex cuisine, that is, the gastronomy created by Mexican immigrants living in the US state of Texas. The recipe consists of a sautéed or grilled chopped meat served on a corn flour tortilla and accompanied by vegetables. Originally fajitas were made only with beef, but today, as has happened with other international dishes, they are also made with chicken or pork. As a garnish, the guacamole, pico de gallo or cheese, either in sauce or grated.
