East bread It is the one I usually make lately for children's sandwiches. It is soft, very tender, and all the ingredients that we are going to put in it are good.

It is made with yogurt, milk and olive oil. Part of the flour that we will put is integral but you can do it, if you want, using only refined flour.

With these quantities two units come out, two breads. If it seems too much you can cut it into slices and  freeze it so that it is always freshly made.

  • 120 g of water
  • 190g milk
  • 240 g of unsweetened plain yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 20 g fresh baker's yeast
  • 30 g of extra virgin olive oil
  • 700 g of wheat flour
  • 300 g of whole wheat or cereal flour
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  1. We put the milk, water, yogurt, yeast and sugar in a large robot (or in the bowl of the mixer).
  2. We mix with a wooden spoon.
  3. We add the rest of the ingredients.
  4. We knead, better in a kneader (with the hook).
  5. Let the dough rest inside the bowl until the dough doubles its volume (between one and two hours).
  6. We prepare two plum cake molds, putting a sheet of greaseproof paper and smearing the side that has not been covered with the paper with a little oil.
  7. We divide the dough in two and form the loaves.
  8. We put them inside the molds spreading them well so that they cover the entire base.
  9. We let it rest again (about two hours) until light.
  10. We preheat the oven to 180º. We bake at that temperature for approximately 35 minutes.
