When my boys tried this cake they told me it tasted like magdalena. And they were partly right because it is very fluffy and is made with practically the same ingredients.
We have flavored it with the grated skin of a tangerine and we have put a Almond cream that we will find inside. You can substitute the cream for thin sliced apple.
If you have a kitchen robot do not hesitate to use it to mount the eggs and sugar. This way it will be as fluffy as mine.
