A most original appetizer, with Brussels sprouts.

Ingredients
- 370 g brussels sprouts
- Water for cooking
- Sal Island
- 180 g flour
- 1 egg
- 10 g olive oil
- 160 g of beer
- Pepper
- 1/2 onion or 1/4, depending on the size
Preparation
We clean the Brussels sprouts, removing the outer leaves if necessary. We wash them and make this cut to facilitate cooking.
We put water in a saucepan and, when it starts to boil, add the sprouts.
We wait until they are cooked. We will know when we prick them and notice them soft.
We take them out of the water once they are cooked.
While they are cooking, put the ingredients for the dough in a bowl: flour, egg, oil, beer, a little pepper and salt.
Mix and let rest for a few minutes.
Chop the onion to obtain portions like the one seen in the photo that I leave below.
We prick a cooked cabbage on a stick. Next we puncture a small piece of onion.
Coat this "skewer" by passing it through the dough.
As we form them, we will fry them in abundant frying oil.
We are leaving the skewers on absorbent paper and, then, we serve.
